  • Tirtha Empul Tampaksiring Temple is famous for its sacred water sources and this temple is located to the east under the Tampaksiring Palace. A stone inscription still preserved in Manukkaya Village mentions that this temple was built by Queen Sri Candra Bhayasingha Warmadewa in the deity in the Manukaya area. This inscription contains the year 882 caka (960 AD). Here there is a very large spring, which until now has been sacred by the locals. The kinship found here is a phallus-yoni and an ox statue.
